Welcome to our March 2016 Riviera Partners Realty Newsletter. Our intention is to keep you all informed and up to date of what is happening in our paradise, as well as the best properties currently being offered for sale and rent within Punta Mita and our Riviera Northern Shore region .

This start of the 2016 year has arrived with good energy and prospective clients looking to find a place in this mexican paradise that we called home, we have seen more people than ever before visiting our local hotels, luxury rental properties and looking at Real Estate once again. We continue to be extremely busy with prospective clients, mainly US citizens at this time with the great additional value now offered by the strong US dollar. Although the fluctuation of the currencies for two of our three major markets (Mexicans and Canadians) has created some decision to "Hold" for the time being on the purchasing process until the volatility settles on these currencies, the American clientele has decided again to reconsider Mexico as the place of choice for a holiday home in Paradise. We have started the year closing a few transactions and several offers in play with funds in escrow. The future looks very bright for the Mexico hotel industry, thanks to strong demand and limited supply of rooms. Hotels in Mexico have experience record occupancy numbers again and future booking continue to look quiet optimistic throughout the resort destinations. We have continue to meet with Hotel investors that are seriously consider to establish new hotel brands in our area, as has become standard practice they come to us at RPR for market statistics, trends, information and more. The upcoming W Hotel is a good example of this need for more hotel rooms. Opening this May 2016 according to Starwood Hotels (click here for more information). The W hotel will have 120 villas, a 3000 square feet Away Spa, FIT gym, additionally to their common areas like the W Lounge, pool overlooking the pacific ocean and else.

The high end luxury Rental vacation market also is very strong right now and probably while some Mexicans and Canadians are postponing for the time being their decision to purchase, the high end luxury vacation rentals market (Riviera Rentals Mexico) is the best option at this time to continue visiting and enjoying this area. At the same time they keep touring and figuring out their personal best time to purchase.

Our Punta Mita and the entire Northern Shore region will continue to be the best family destination for those who like to relax, enjoy life and play here in Paradise.
