Dear Friends & Neighbours,Welcome to our March 2014 edition of the Riviera Partners Realty (RPR) monthly newsletter. By way of our monthly newsletter it is our intention to ensure that you stay up to date with what is happening here in Punta Mita and the entire Riviera North Shore. We have finalized our annual sales report and as predicted 2014 was the best sales year over the past 5 years not only on gross sales but also on the number of properties sold. Punta Mita development sold a total of USD$91,754,450.00 and the near by developments towards La Cruz de Huanacaxtle another USD$10,086,087.00 according to the MLS. Also 2014 has shown Punta Mita’s Master Plan developer Dine that the demand is there for certain specific real estate product like home sites and branded residential product. We believe that ‘price' will continue be the driver of sales throughout 2015 and until such time that the inventory is greatly reduced, then the prices will start moving up once again. We continue to see the last great deals begin offered and negotiated in some key properties and locations, things are certainly on the move once again, with some amazing deals still to be realized. Recently we partnered on the auction launch of a property with New York Based Luxury Real Estate firm Concierge Auctions. This first auction within Punta Mita achieved the sellers goal and therefore the sale of a property known as Villa Maria 1 located within the Lagos del Mar community. For Concierge Auctions this is their first time in Mexico but the fifth country where they participate successfully in working with a local listing agency such as RPR.
