Welcome to our July/August 2015 edition of the Riviera Partners Realty (RPR) monthly newsletter. We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you all home to Paradise, the 'Summer season' is here offering long days and beautiful tropical storms and spectacular sunsets! By way of our monthly newsletter it is our intention to ensure that you stay up to date with what is happening here in Punta Mita and the entire Riviera North Shore.

Summer has been very busy according to the recent numbers shown by the OCV Riviera nayarit (www.rivieranayarit.com.mx) in which outline a hotel occupancy for the first semester of 2015 at an average of 82.50% in all hotels in the Riviera Nayarit. We are also seeing high occupancy numbers and record occupancy for holiday rental properties this year to date and still now during the summer months. Rental rates are increasing due to the increased demand and shortage of quality inventory. The event calendar here within Punta Mita and the entire Riviera North Shore has been extremely busy with interesting events taking place. As the President of the Riviera Nayarit Chapter of the Mexican Professional Real Estate Association A.M.P.I. We sponsored and participated with a RPR booth. The event was a success with National and International press, brokers, speakers and investors present from several countries including the US and Canada. Here locally within Punta Mita the St. Regis Resort hosted the 3rd Annual Punta Mita Beach Festival which was the largest and best to date, this has now become a major event here in Punta Mita each year in July.

We have been very active showing properties and touring new people visiting Punta Mita and our Riviera North Shore region. It is our perception that all indicators now point to greatly increased interest and confidence in Mexico, our Region and in the Real Estate market in general. This is a direct reflection that the US residential real estate market is on track for its best year since 2006 in some markets like California, Texas, Colorado and other states. Historically in our experience we tend to have a delay of approximately 6 to 9 months down here when things start getting better with the US Real Estate market and economy.
